⸻ WHAT WE HANDLE

no job too big.

seriously.

Our 30-foot oven was built for the jobs other shops turn away. Here's a sample of what we handle:

Truck Beds & Headache Racks

Full-size truck beds, flatbeds, and custom headache racks. We handle the full assembly, no disassembly required for most configurations.

Trailers & Trailer Frames

Utility trailers, car haulers, livestock trailers, and custom trailer frames up to 30 feet in length. One of the few shops in Arizona with the oven capacity to handle full trailer frames.

Car & Vehicle Frames

Full chassis, subframes, roll cages, and body panels for classic restorations, off-road builds, and custom fabrications. Bare metal prep included.

Flatbeds & Utility Bodies

Commercial flatbeds, service bodies, and utility beds for work trucks. We coat the full assembly in a single run for color consistency across all surfaces.

Gates, Fencing & Railings

Driveway gates, security fencing panels, stair railings, and balcony guards. Powder coating provides superior weather resistance compared to paint for outdoor metalwork.

AGRICULTURAL Equipment & Frames

Equipment frames, machinery housings, skid plates, and industrial components. We work with contractors, fabricators, and industrial clients throughout Northern Arizona.

Architectural Metalwork

Custom architectural elements, canopies, pergola frames, and decorative metalwork for commercial and residential projects. Any color, any finish.

Signage & Monument Frames

Large commercial sign frames, monument sign structures, and wayfinding hardware. We've coated county and municipal signage throughout the White Mountains region.

⸻ Why apex?

Most Shops Say No.

We Say Bring It.

The majority of powder coating shops in Arizona operate ovens that max out at 8–10 feet in length. That means full trailer frames, car chassis, and long flatbeds simply can't be coated in a single pass, or at all.

Our 10' × 10' × 30' oven was a deliberate investment to serve the contractors, fabricators, ranchers, and off-road builders in Northern Arizona who need a shop that can handle their real-world projects.

⸻ THE PROCESS

How Large Item Coating Works

01

Call or Submit a Quote

Tell us your part dimensions, material, and desired finish. We'll give you a quote over the phone or email, no need to bring it in first for most standard items.

02

Drop-Off & Inspection

Bring your part to our Show Low facility. We inspect for rust, damage, and prep requirements. We'll confirm the final scope and timeline before any work begins.

03

Sandblasting & Surface Prep

After fabrication, the part is sandblasted to bare metal. This removes all weld spatter, mill scale, and surface contamination, creating the anchor profile needed for maximum coating adhesion.

04

Powder Application

The part is hung or racked in our spray booth and coated with electrostatically charged powder. Our technicians ensure complete coverage on all surfaces, edges, and complex geometry.

05

Full-Length Oven Cure

The part enters our 30-foot oven and is cured at 400°F. The full-length oven means no repositioning, no seams, and consistent color across the entire piece.

06

Inspection & Pickup

Every part is inspected before release. We'll call you when it's ready. Large items can be picked up with a trailer, we'll help you load safely.

Our racking and hanging system is built for heavy industrial parts. We can handle most items up to several thousand pounds. Contact us for very heavy items so we can confirm our rigging can accommodate your load.

Most customers trailer their items to our Show Low facility. We have a loading dock and can assist with unloading. For very large items, call ahead so we can prepare the appropriate rigging.
