CUSTOM

FABRICATION

In-house welding, metal repair, and custom fabrication, followed by sandblasting and powder coating, all under one roof.

⸻ WHAT WE DO

Fix It. Build It.

COAT IT.

Most powder coating shops are finishing shops only, they coat what you bring them, and if your part is damaged, rusted, or needs modification, you're on your own to find a welder first.

At Apex, we handle the complete job. Our in-house fabrication capability means we can repair damage, build custom components, and modify existing metalwork, then blast and coat it all in the same visit. True one-stop service for metal projects of any complexity.

⸻ THE ADVANTAGE

WHY ONE STOP MATTERS.

FASTER TURNAROUND

No waiting for a separate fabricator and a separate coater to coordinate. We do both in-house, on the same schedule.

BETTER RESULTS

When the fabricator and the coater are the same team, repairs are made with coating in mind, proper weld prep, no sharp edges that cause early coating failure.

ONE POINT OF CONTACT

One phone number, one quote, one pickup. No chasing two shops for updates on your project.

ACCOUNTABILITY

We stand behind both the fabrication and the finish. If something isn't right, you talk to us, not a third party.

⸻ OUR CAPABILITIES

FROM RAW METAL TO

FINISHED PRODUCT

01

Consultation & Quote

Bring your part in or describe your project over the phone. We'll assess the scope, repairs needed, custom components required, finish options, and give you a complete quote for the full job.

02

Fabrication & Repair

Our welder addresses all repairs, modifications, and custom fabrication before any surface prep begins. We build with coating in mind, proper weld prep, smooth transitions, no sharp edges that cause early coating failure.

03

Sandblasting

After fabrication, the part is sandblasted to bare metal. This removes all weld spatter, mill scale, and surface contamination, creating the anchor profile needed for maximum coating adhesion.

04

Powder Coating

The clean, bare-metal part is powder coated in your chosen color and finish from our 6,500+ Prismatic Powders catalog. Cured in our 10' × 10' × 30' oven for a hard, durable finish.

05

Quality Inspection

We inspect the finished part for weld quality, coating coverage, color accuracy, and surface consistency. We don't release work we wouldn't put our name on.

06

PICKUP

Your completed part is ready for pickup at our Show Low facility. We'll call you when it's done. Most complete fabricate-and-coat jobs are finished within 5–7 business days.
